In projects where the floor requires leveling and repair, we start by applying a self-leveling compound.
We started by grinding the surface to ensure it was clean and ready for applying the epoxy. Next, we applied the epoxy flake system in blue tones, creating a vibrant and durable finish. To seal and protect the flakes, we applied a topcoat. The entire process took 2 days, allowing time for the materials to dry properly.
In this project, we removed the old metallic epoxy coating, ground the floor to prepare it for self-leveling application. After the self-leveling compound dried and received a light sanding, we installed a new flooring system with epoxy flakes.
When the existing concrete substrate is in good condition and doesn’t require repairs, epoxy flake installation is exceptionally fast.
This project involved a complete basement renovation, transforming the space into a sophisticated and stylish area.
• Area: 200 sqft
• Timeline: 2 days
• System: Broadcast Sand
For this technical space, we applied a broadcast sand flooring system designed to deliver superior slip resistance and durability. The process involves broadcasting fine sand onto a freshly applied epoxy base coat, creating a textured surface that significantly improves traction and safety.
This project features a variation of self-leveling flooring with colored tint.
In this project, we utilized self-leveling flooring to ensure a perfectly even surface before applying the epoxy flake system.
