Playground with Poured-in-Place Rubber

Leave request
  • Area: 1,400 sqft
  • Timeline: 2 days
  • System: Pour-in-Place Rubber

For this playground, we began by installing an underlayment layer to create a soft, impact-absorbing base. The pour-in-place rubber system was then applied directly over the prepared area, eliminating the need for a concrete foundation. This process involves blending high-quality rubber granules with a binding agent and pouring the mixture onto the surface. Once poured, the material is spread and leveled to ensure even coverage. As it sets, the result is a seamless, flexible surface that’s both durable and resilient, providing excellent shock absorption and slip resistance. This system can be installed on playgrounds, sports courts, and other recreational areas, providing excellent shock absorption and slip resistance.

For this project, we chose yellow and blue tones to create a vibrant, safe environment, which is crucial for a children’s play area. The rubber surface needs a minimum of 12 hours to cure, after which children can safely enjoy the playground.

Benefits:

  • No need for a concrete sublayer.
  • Made from durable, weather-resistant materials, providing a long-lasting solution for high-traffic areas.
  • Safe and soft, minimizing the risk of injuries from falls.
