For this playground project, we began by installing a black underlayment layer on the first day to create a soft, impact-absorbing base. On the second day, we applied the colorful green pour-in-place rubber coating, which mimics the look of grass and provides a vibrant, safe surface for children to play on. Now, even in winter, the playground will have the appearance and feel of fresh grass.
This seamless surface eliminates the need for a concrete foundation, as the rubber system is poured directly over the prepared area. It’s made by blending high-quality rubber granules with a binding agent, and once poured, the material is spread and leveled for even coverage. The result is a flexible, durable surface that offers excellent shock absorption and slip resistance.
This system is not only perfect for playgrounds but also ideal for sports courts and other recreational areas. The material is weather-resistant, providing a long-lasting solution for high-traffic areas.
After a minimum of 12 hours of curing time, the playground is ready for safe use, offering a secure and enjoyable environment for kids to play.
