In this project, we transformed an outdoor deck using a wood plank microtopping system. We began by grinding the existing surface and repairing any imperfections, followed by applying a primer for the self-leveling compound. After the self-leveling compound dried, we performed a light grind and applied another coat of primer to ensure optimal adhesion for the microtopping. The base layer of the microtopping was then applied, and a second layer with the wood plank design followed. Finally, the entire surface was sealed with a solvent-based sealer, providing a beautiful and durable finish.
Such projects typically take between 2 to 5 days, depending on the size of the area. The wood plank microtopping system offers a stunning and long-lasting cement-based solution, perfect for enhancing the aesthetics and functionality of outdoor spaces.
